Mehndi (Henna) Photos & notes

About Mehndi:

Goodness knows the world doesn't need another henna page. Here are some that exist:

So far, just a quick look at the process. The first set is with the henna paste still on (that's the dark stuff). The second is with the paste just off, and the third set is after half a day (it tends to darken). Well, okay, I need to get better photos to show the difference after it darkens. This particular batch of henna was just about at the end of its shelf life, so it's not very dark, but you may be able to see the variation of tone with skin type. The toe and back of the heel are darkest; around the ankle is quite pale.
