Actually, the original post here is incorrect.
While you can post email to someone using an illegal key, they can't post
to you. This means that your customers (and users) are not affected but
the customers of the ISP using the illegal key are.
I suspect that the issue here is a different one. If someone is using
illegally obtained software, how much do they really care about their
users? Obviously not much... so they are unlikely to give their customers
any support. This means that they are not likely to be in business long.
