I've been running the beta of SP1 for a while and am just now installing the release version. As far as I can tell the only thing I've found so far is that Pagemaker 6.5 still leaves a zombie process running sometimes when you close down the application.

7/31/00 First reports are looking good. It appears Zone Alarm firewall set on high security has some sort of an issue but reinstalling tcp/ip fixed it.
8/19/00 Got a news letter today that suggests there might be a problem with maxtor hard drives and SP1. Something about not detecting drive size correctly can cause data loss. Keep your eyes out for this one. more information
12/8/00 Well it took some time to track this one down but it seems SP1 creates a problem for Pagemaker 6.52 in that once you apply SP1 Pagemaker will begin to change fonts when you print to a postscript printer. The change seems to be with the first font you use on a page changing to whatever the printer default font is, the rest of the page then prints correctly. Happens if you go straight to PDF instead of a postscript printer as well. One cure is to put a blank space in front of the trouble font and make the space a different font, then everything after the space prints correctly.
