Novell/DOS timeout setting

Is there a way to change the Timout Settings when accessing a
Novell print queue under DOS on a Windows NT Workstation???

There is a registry setting

   \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    \SYSTEM
     \CurrentControlSet
       \Control
         \WOW
           \LPT_timeout

which defines how many seconds after the LPT port has been used that
Windows NT waits before grabbing the port, closing it, and flushing the
output. This value could be needed for adjusting the timeout when
printing from MS-DOS-based applications .

 The default value is 15 seconds.
